It has been the most popular mat cutter in our range for years. For matboards in outer dimensions up to 81 cm length. In contrast to the Logan Compact Classic 301-1, the 350-1 is equipped with an angle stop, which facilitates handling and ensures the squareness of the cardboard sheets.. The 350-1 also has a straight cut for cutting the sheets much easier than its predecessor models. With a stop arm and measuring bar in combination with the supplied straight cutting head, which offers a 3-step depth adjustment and a swivelling handle and is inserted into the cutting guide rail instead of the 45° head (corresponds to the Logan 2000 hand cutter), the whole thing then slides much better. If the cardboard is cut on the outside, then it goes to the window. First draw in (already with the help of the rip fence) and then cut with the help of the start/stop mark on the cutting head. It is even faster - especially when several identical windows are involved - with the included stoppers. This also reduces the need for marking to a single line. The cardboard thickness can be adjusted, as can the margin stop (1.9 - 11.4 cm). Logan indicates the maximum cardboard thickness with up to 3 mm. However, since the matboards commonly used in Germany are much harder than in the USA, we would recommend using the Logan 5000 attachable cutting head (available as an accessory) for 3 mm thick boards in this country.
