Clamshell boxes for archiving and presentation. Made from one single sheet of our Monogard®-cardboard, 1,4mm. Free of acid, lignin and sulphur. Outside gray and alkalized buffered against harmfull environmental influences, inside white and non-buffered. Corners fixed with metal edge construction, so the inside is plain and even. The flip top lid provides easy access and protection from UV light and dust.

Monosafe Interleaving Paper 120g

Alcaline buffered archival paper made from 100% alpha cellulose 120 g/sqm Free of acids, lignin and optical brighteners. P.A.T. passed 100 sheets per pack Studying standards for archiving goods like ISO 9706, you may find a requirement that most materials don´t meet: the buffering substance. It is rejected in most recommendations for photographic materials, because albumin papers, cyanotypes and dye transfers might be harmed by the buffering substance itself. Who generally stores photos in non-buffered materials (direct contact) might not care specifically about identifying the individual photographic process. The buffering serves as protector for the archival paper, so it takes up acids much slower and the paper ages less fast. We recommend this buffered archival paper for graphics, inkjetprints as well as b/w prints, 120 g/sqm, P.A.T.passed. 100 sheets per pack.

Die Hülle lässt sich ganz öffnen und wird um das Bild oder den Film herumgeklappt. Somit werden Beschädigungen durch das sonst nötige Reinschieben und Herausziehen vollständig vermieden. Die Faltklappenhüllen mit maximaler Festigkeit und Transparenz lassen sich mit unseren Archivschreibern beschriften oder mit entsprechenden Etiketten versehen.
